The kids had a terrific summer running the Sweetwater Animal Society and finding homes for some amazing animals. They have settled back into a new school year and are on winter break and about to celebrate Spencer’s birthday. But something just doesn’t feel right! Spencer begins to have dreams of an ancient castle on an island in a fog-covered lake. But are they really dreams? Restless and confused, Spencer heads to The Hidden Mountain to ask Suri Lakena what’s happening to him. When he gets there he finds Suri and Sir Benjamin have vanished!

He pulls the gang together to help him uncover the clues hidden within his dreams. They learn they must travel two hundred years back in time to Edinburgh, Scotland. Once there they find the Castle of Montague under siege by evil forces trying to take control of the energy vortex located within its walls. They must figure out a way to regain control of the vortex to restore time to its proper order and bring Suri Lakena and Sir Benjamin back to their rightful place in The Hidden Mountain.

The Sweetwater kids go on a thrilling journey of time travel but there’s one catch—when they arrive in Scotland someone is missing! Emily has ended up in another place…in another time!

Once again they will meet some amazing new animals and Knights of the Sword! They’ll be faced with some new enemies and might even find an old friend they thought was lost forever!
